I’m far from an expert but I know what I like. I only have an entry level, single boiler espresso machine and have tried most of the major brands out there. I’ve even tried several of the local vendors but once I found Blazing Bean Roasters, I never looked back. For me, the Coda di Topa is just simply amazing and to get it freshly roasted makes it that much better. Opening that bag up for the first time just fills the kitchen with fantastic aromas, driving that desire for a freshly pulled double. And when I get that part right, it really opens up all the flavors that a great bean can present. There’s no better way to start my day than grinding up just the right amount for a double-shot then letting all those great flavors wash over the beginning to a great morning.

I love this coffee. I have a super automatic coffee maker and this bean shines. Great roast with a wonderful robust flavor. I have tried a lot of expensive beans but this is now my go to. Try it and love it. Check out that crema!

First time using Blazing Beans Roasters. They recommended the Italian Espresso Blend. Found it to be smooth for a dark roast. Works great with the pour over coffee maker. And, happily, so did a friend who stopped by. Looking forward to buying this one again as well as trying the other selections.

Coda di Topo Italian Espresso Blend: Double espresso, Breville Barista Express machine - 18g of coffee and a 25 second pull. First, the Coda di Topo creates a thick, creamy and even-textured crema. First sip starts with a very pleasant citrus (orange?) twang that continues throughout. The mouth-feel to this espresso blend is kinda “chewy” and full flavored. It finishes with a nice baker’s chocolate aftertaste. I will definitely be a repeat customer!
Best coffee beans hands down. The freshest beans makes the best espresso! So velvety smooth. I will definitely be buying again!
This is the second espresso roast that I’ve ordered from Blazing Bean Roasters. I’m enjoying the Coda di Topo Blend. The espresso pulls have been very consistently good. Nice body and some floral notes. Definitely recommend this one.

I discovered Blazing Bean during the pandemic and love all their coffee, especially the espresso. We recently moved and I tried some local roasters but have switched back to Blazing Bean coffee. They make it easy to order and delivery is fast.
What a great find this place is. I have tried three different coffees from them, and love all of them. This most recent one tasted amazing. It makes it hard to buy coffee other places.

Wonderful coffee. A full of flavor with a nice roast. I’ve been making my espresso almost exclusively with this bean for almost 2 years. I have occasionally run out and when I substitute other roasters’ espresso blend or dark Italian blend they just don’t have the fullness of flavor that Coda DiTopo has. I’m a true believer.

It is a bit too sharp in flavor. It could have been how I brewed it. I prefer other brands perhaps. That said there are many other flavors I would like to try.
Blazing Bean Roasters are my go to source for fresh espresso roast coffee in Clearwater. The Coda di Topa is an excellent choice.

I picked up a bag of Coda di Topo blend today. After purging my grinder I brewed my first cappuccino with a double shot. Definitely not too strong or imposing nor acidic. Good body roast! Now that I’ve tried three of the espresso roasts, it looks like I will switching between Coda di Topo, Brown Velvet and Luna-Tic just to keep life interesting.
Assuming that this blend was recently changed (it looks that way), then I would like to commend you Blazing Beans on doing so! While I enjoyed the low acidity of the earlier version, this updated blend smells and tastes even better - less acidity, smoother flavor. Well done, once again!

I received my order within 2 days , I ground up my coffee. The whole house smells of wonderful fresh coffee. I was impressed with the smooth taste and texture. I will definitely be purchasing more of your products.
